DAY .. 29.February
2008 - Ice
- One day at home before I go to Turkey and
hopefully more sun. On the ice to meet up with
Jan Erik Endrerud. He brought Espen's "old" Aris
and had his first winch launches ever. Had a
nice time I think and he also enjoyed some
strong thermals. I flew my Pike Perfect SSL and
Jan Erik also got some time on it. Nice
conditions. A bit windy when we started but it
calmed down with strong thermals.
DAY .. 26.February
2008 - Costa del sol, Malaga
- First on the beach I got some flying done in
Benalmadena. No thermals but great to chuck some
Nemo with sand in my feet. Later in the day we
took the Tleferico up to 850m and found a great
DS slope at the top. Hot warm thermals on one
side and tiny DS rotors on the other side. First
time I have flown the Nemo in DS I think. Almost
fluttered the tiny bugger ;) Incredible feeling
to fly in the heat down here while the guys are
on the ice back home. Have some video but not
any good stuff worth making a video for the net.
DAY .. 25.February
2008 - Costa del sol, Malaga
- Took a small walk up the hill from the Hotel
since I heard some gas models in the air. Too
far to walk and had to cross a highway but I
flew my Nemo on a mountain top after watching
the power guys had flown a while. Great thermals
also in Spain!
DAY .. 20.February
2008 - Ice
- Lovely on the ice and I had to get down there
for a flight with the Adrenaline 2M. Geir Atle
have now several flights with his Extra he has
been working on for a long time with Fuji 40cc.
Plenty of power and seemed to fly well.
DAY .. 16.February
2008 - Ice
- Had some vistors that bought Arild's thrusty
Extra and also brought a 2 motor that had a
maiden. A bit cold but we flew a lot. I flew my
Adrenaline 2M. Arild flew his new Yak 2,6m.
DAY .. 15.February
2008 - Indoor
- Lots of junior pilots again and we had some
fun indoor. I flew my Noliemit and the Bipe.
DAY .. 9.February
2008 - Perfect electro and yearly meeting in the
main club
- Foggy on the ice today but nice weather and
the fog cleared now and then so we got some
flights in. A little bit impressed about Odd
Roger's new Sebart model. Maybe I have to look
out for one of those... (I have motor and
battery to fit..). I flew my Pike Perfect
electro and Nemo for many flights and also my
old Mini Katana that I sold to Morten. Kjell
Arne had a good maiden on his new Extra and
Oddgeir had a good maiden on his homemade
dogfighter from moulds. Plenty of guys on the
ice today.
In the afternoon there was yearly meeting in the
main club. Took a while as usual but a good
discussion about the future also.
Maybe I need one of those? Light at 2,2kg with 6
cells.
DAY .. 8.February
2008 - Indoor
- Finished of a Extra kind of large indoor model
for Geir Atle and was able to fly it a bit both
outdoor and indoor today. Nice model and flew
pretty slow and stable. A good indoor model if
you have a bit larger than the typical small
motors. Still slow enough for small halls.

DAY .. 7.February
2008 - Juniors
- We started of a new junior building course
today and 5(6) juniors will build simple "Grokker's"
and we started of today with a couple of hours
meeting and showing them a bit what it is about.
Morten had done a good preperation and with all
of us others to fill up I think the juniors will
get a good start ;)
DAY ..
3.February
2008 - IGG / Perfect
- Snowing heavily and even though the field was
ready by 10:00 it kept on snowing a total of
20cm. But a few of us got some flights in the
end of the day. Brynjar with Pike elektro and
Egil / me with Pike Perfect on the winch. We
actually forgot to take any pictures..
DAY .. 2.February
2008 - IGG Neglespretten
- What a wonderful day on the ice. Pretty warm
with the sun up and plenty of thermals so the
long travelling guys could have some long
flights with their scale gliders. I think we
were 12 pilots, 2 wife's and some junior
spectators. 46? flights on
the towing Yak of Oddvar was the total of the
day and mid-day we could fly as long as we
wanted really as the thermals were strong.
Lovely to see friends up here in the
"wilderness". In
the evening we went for some food and bowling
although a couple of beers was the choice in
front of the bowling,... ;)

DAY .. 1.February
2008 - Indoor
- Indoor as "usual" on fridays and we had a few
visitors. Egil borrowed my Bipe and I flew my
Noliemit. Lots of action but not so much
crashes. Gunnar was used to a bit bigger hall i
think when he pulled out his Ferias...
