Football
The local football field needed some photos to
show of the new sitting places. And to show of a
ticket place. So I took some photos of the
ticket place and placed it into the photo.

Noliemit / Perfect
Some years ago I borrowed a picolario from a
friend that uses it for scale flying. My
impression then was that I could just as well
see the thermals instead. But now I bought a
used one and tested it for fun in dead air. I
was amazed. It was actually showing me some
rixing air and I could use. So what I did not
know before was that one could adjust it to be
more sensitive.... Though some practice is
needed and Fredrik had more problems using it
then me. But today Fredrik flew his first
rolling circle on his second flight trying it
out. These kids learn so fast if they want to!

Noliemit
Sometimes me and Fredrik go out and just fly
some small stuff. Not always I have pictures to
update here but this time it was nice. Fredrik
asked what the best I thought was about flying.
I answered to be outdoors. He thought it was
having fun and be with friends or people he
knows. Today we flew the old trusty NoLiemit. It
has been with us for many years now.

The other guys...
I could have gone to Haugesund for DS instead.
Luckily the conditions were not that insane that
the weather forecast said but I have received
some links for nice heavy DS. Look at Youtube

HERE. The conditions was heavy enough to rip
out control horns on heavy duty F3B/F models.
Some of the best F3F/DS pilots in Norway were
present (Arild, Rollerolf, Bjørn Tore, Espen...).
I have ordered a new Radar gun (Falcon DS from
skipmillermodels.com and that should be good
for 575mph...). That should be on its way within
a week or so.

Vågå Airshow / Open day
Jotunheimen model air club is about a year old
and working hard on getting new members and the
community with them. Our club was invited to
help out on the flying bit so me and Geir Atle
took the trip with some planes. I took my
helicopter, indoor model and some sailplanes
(Perfect ET and Predator). Geir Atle took some
indoor models. It became a buzy day since there
was not so many other pilots present but we had
a blast. Indoor flying in a "show case" hall
with model shops, lottery, cafe and a good crowd
at times. We could wish for more spectators but
in 7 hours there were always an audience. They
paid for the diesel but I out it in the lottery
;) Thanks for a nice day with lots of smiling
faces.

Åsen Lillehammer
Stig had more time to fly and I could not
resist. Me and my Pike Perfect ET had a good day
out again in fairly calm conditions but with
slight headwind we had some great launches. So
good that we almost popped the turnaround out of
the ground. The air was slightly boyant here and
there and we did not expect anything before it
suddenly popped at the end of the day. Cool
place to fly.

Åsen Lillehammer
Went over the mountain to fly a bit with the
guys at Lillehammer. Managed to scramble out a
few guys and had a nice time in calm sunny
weather. It was a nice day for sure and there
were plenty of small thermals midday to hold on
to. I flew my Pike Perfect ET and Stig flew a
reborn Perfect from 3 different models. Frank
also was there with his Xplorer but that was
left in the car and he had only a flight with
the goose. It is in high altitude and the air
was very thin today. A few grams of lead in the
nose fixed that. Stig as usual does a good job
in teaching new pilots. Good work!

14-16.october
2009 -
DS in Haugesund
Took the trip further south after the photo
mission. My friends let all work go and went
flying with me instead. More video later maybe but here is a
video of Arild flying DS F3F with his Skymax4
and some pictures of the day to follow with
fishing. I
flew my Kobra DS and Rolf Inge his Compact. On
the way back I flew my Joker2 in the
Vøringsfossen canyon since the weather was so
nice.

Rosendal
Photo mission tomorrow but so nice scenery needs
to be shown. And the trip over Hardangervidda...
DAY .. 11.october 2009 - AXN Floater The problem was a new transmitter cable as I wanted the 2.4 antenna on the roof of the car (I was going to fly FPV). The antenna cable was no good. The death of a model.... Did a mistake when I launched without checking range and a new installation... Goodbye.. Well maybe repairable with much care. Well it was a cheap plane and did me well.

Klanten
Recruting and open day at the airfield Klanten
as a joint venture between two clubs.
Hallingdal and
Valdres.
I think I counted atleast 20 cars and possibly
30 people. Dead calm and sun was out. the
sossages and burgers got legs and coffee was
free. Lot of fullsize activity too but the cool
here is that they work together!!! And all felt
welcome.

Snowball
Been flying some small stuff lately. Today I
took the Easystar copy to the parent driven
school day and the kids got to throw some
snowballs on it. It could take it ;) Next time I
want to have the FPV camera on it because
Fredrik took some great video. Would be nice
with some angles from the plane...

2009 -
Just a trip
Thought the wind was up so a mountain top was my
goal. Storefjell is fairly easy access but it
was just plain nice up there insted of slope
lift. Took a good break just looking at the
girls wandering by and did not fly at all.
Afterwards I went by Klanten airfield to maybe
do some winching but spent the time watching the
big birds instead. Nice day anyhow.. ;)
